Delta Hotels and Resorts is a chain of 40 hotels and resorts across Canada, primarily in the 4 star range of standard. ==History== Delta was founded by William Pattison in 1962 in Richmond, British Columbia with a single 62-room motor inn called Delport Inn and expanded across British Columbia by 1970. It has locations in all 10 provinces. It has a staff of 7,000 employees and is under the leadership of CEO Kenneth Greene. Its global reservation centre is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Delta once had a hotel in the United States, the Delta Court of Flags Hotel, located in Orlando, Florida, however, it was closed sometime after 1996 and has subsequently been demolished. Delta's specific branding includes the Delta Privilege rewards program and "Signature Club" executive floor rooms that feature extra amenities and included breakfast.
